On October 2nd, we organized our second Business Breakfast entitled "Operations Transformation: People, Culture, Change, and Results." Like the previous edition, this second one also focused on industrial operations and maintenance processes in the pharmaceutical sector.

The Business Breakfast featured two interesting case studies presented by Almirall and Kern Pharma, a presentation on strategy, and concluded with a roundtable discussion.

The participants were Pol Salvadó i Cols, Facility Plant Director at Almirall; Silvia Segura, Organizational Development & KPS at Kern Pharma; Dr. Xavier Pujol, Strategy Director at Solve Advisors Group, co-organizer of the Business Breakfast; and Carlos Valera Cavaller, CEO of MyC Facility Industrial.

Carlos Valera emphasized "the importance of events like this for learning about the best practices of many companies that are already investing in transformation in both processes and maintenance and are seeking the best partners to develop them."

Pol Salvadó i Cols, Facility Plant Director at Almirall, presented the case "Cultural and Digital Transformation: Keys to Healthy and Sustainable Change," in which he explained how to approach these processes from a strategic perspective and then move on to tactical details.

Silvia Segura, Organizational Development & KPS at Kern Pharma, presented the Kern Production System, a continuous improvement methodology created to manage the accelerated growth the company has experienced in recent years.

Dr. Xavier Pujol, Strategy Director at Solve Advisors Group, gave a presentation on the experience of people-based growth. The event concluded with a roundtable discussion attended by all the speakers. The Business Breakfast, held at the Hotel Gallery in Barcelona, ​​was attended by 50 professionals.
